OverviewWe are seeking a Project Manager who will oversee design, construction and move-in requirements for clients with offices located throughout the United States. Essential Functions

Design: Assist in sourcing and selection of millwork, flooring, painting, IT and other interior needs as required per the client. The role will also manage ordering/purchasing of FF&E.

Construction: Qualify, conduct walkthroughs, source, review and negotiate contractor bids. Once selected, the Project Manager will oversee construction, develop a schedule, manage quality control and ensure contracts are completed on time and on budget.

Move-in: Assist clients with move-in needs including office setup, sourcing movers, and coordination of FF&E and various other task as required by the client.

Client communication: Participate in executive committee meetings, conference calls and various other forms of communication as needed.
Education & Experience
- BS or equivalent degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Real Estate or other related field.
- Must have experience/skills in construction Project Management (construction estimation, scheduling, engineering, design/permitting process, bid development, contract and/or sub-contract management).
- Minimum 2+ years project management or construction experience.
Skills & Abilities
- Must be able to travel 50-75% nationwide occassionally on short notice.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to read architectural plans, floor plans and other building related documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple audiences (e.g., peer teams, management, business partners, clients).
- Demonstrates ability to evaluate risks to the business.
- Time management and ability to multi task.
- Proven history of strong analytical technical and organization skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
- Self-motivated, dedicated, and goal-oriented.
- Must work well under pressure in a deadline driven environment and be flexible to change with business priorities.
- Proficient skills in all office software systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Outlook and Power Point.
Compensation
This is a contract, 1099 role. Pay is hourly DOE, with hourly minimums, overtime and weekend premiums included. All travel and work-related expenses are provided.
